escalators

Lately, it has been only two types of dreams.
Rushing to take baths or

rushing to reach a destination only by escalators.

Escalators which criss-cross with each other.
And the escalators can never take me directly to my aimed destination.
I'm required to hop from one to another.
What does it mean?
